Triumph at the 14th Milwaukee Tattoo Arts Festival

Hello everyone,

I’m Mimi-Sama, and I wanted to share the incredible experience I had at the 14th Milwaukee Tattoo Arts Festival, which took place from October 4-6 at the Baird Center in Milwaukee. This event, organized by Vilains Art, was not just another gathering of tattoo enthusiasts; for me, it was a moment of profound pride and fulfillment.

Winning an Award

Winning an award at this prestigious festival feels like a reward of years of dedication, hard work, and an unwavering passion for my craft. I’ve poured my heart and soul into every piece I’ve created, always striving to push my boundaries. This award is a recognition to the journey I’ve been on, marked by countless hours of practice, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Ambitious Tattoo Piece

The piece that won the award was particularly ambitious. It was a complex and intricate design that challenged me in ways I hadn’t anticipated. The process was long and demanding, for me and my client, but the result was worth every moment of effort. Seeing the final product come to life on skin was a reminder of why I fell in love with tattooing in the first place—the ability to turn a shared vision into a lasting work of art.

Emotion and Gratitude

Standing on that stage, receiving recognition from my peers and fellow artists, was a moment of immense pride and modesty. It validated the years I’ve spent honing my skills and the sacrifices I’ve made along the way. But more than anything, it filled me with gratitude for the support and encouragement I’ve received from clients, friends, and the tattoo community. I also realize it’s only the beginning. So many talented artists out there, and I want to be at the top of my craft and stay there, so I’ll keep pushing!

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been part of this journey with me. Your belief in my work has been a constant source of inspiration. I am excited to continue creating, growing, and sharing my art with the world.

With all my gratitude, Mimi-Sama
